I have been listening to Clara ever since her first album release some 30 years ago. Clara's music over the decades has explored the fringes of our imagination traveling to new perspectives and returning from her journeys with a new album to share. It has been enlightening following her musical world she created where we never heard the construction, only the beauty of the poetry of the finished dream.

It is only a "brave step" for an instrumentalist to add vocals if their ego is more powerful than their hearing and humility.

A good piano will hold a note/chord while it decays for about a minute or longer than 99.9% of all vocalists. A piano cannot sustain a note at the same volume and tone. I love the sound a piano makes when holding a chord for longer than tied whole notes at 60bpm. There is a symphony of sympathetic resonance happening as the notes slowly fade away into silence. strings that have not been struck with the hammer are singing in harmony with the stings that were of the intension. I am forced to practice on a digital piano at home for the love of my apartment neighbors. I have been playing these digital pianos without soul or beauty for over 35 years now, and for the first time just bought a digital piano that does have what all the others have been missing, Now I am finally performing at home, where I can enjoy the sound instead of cringing at the lifeless digital interpretation of a piano. I am now experiencing almost the same joy as sitting down to a Steinway D, 9 foot concert grand piano, at home, first time in almost four decades. Technology has visited the house of the musician and listened to us and built an instrument instead of a toy.

Halala ! que de souvenirs!! j'adore Tchavolo !! Je l'ai vu X fois, je pourrais prétendre être un copain ! Je le voyais tous les vendredi, dans les années 80-90 chez Roger Siffer au resto-cabaret à la "Choucrouterie" à Strasbourg! Il jouait là, au resto, on mangeait un bout, après l'enregistrement de l'émission de radio de Roger: "arrache moi la jambe".! Des soirées absolument monumentales, rigolardes, festives, amicales, musicales, inoubliables, avec Roger Siffer à la guitare et au chant aussi, ainsi que.... COOKIE DINGLER !!!!! Jusqu'à tard dans la nuit!! (Ceux qui ont connu peuvent me répondre!.... avec grand plaisir!) Le clou sera pour la soirée de mes 40 ans, où le cabaret devait être complet avec la venue d'un bus plein, .......... lequel ne viendra pas (!!!!) et le spectacle se déroulera,...juste pour moi..et mon épouse !!!! suivi de qlqs heures au resto "La Chouc" avec Tchavolo et son cousin à la guitare !!! Enoooorme!!!!!!! Merci Tchavolo !!
